DYWIDAG-Systems International acquires Grout Systems Inc. (GSI) and The Strand Group, Inc. (TSG)

DYWIDAG Systems International USA Inc. (DSI) is pleased to announce the acquisition of Grout Systems Inc. (GSI) and The Strand Group, Inc. (TSG) both based in the Dallas / Ft. Worth metroplex area in Texas.

Commencing May 10, 2006, the two companies will be wholly owned subsidiaries of DSI and will operate from existing locations in Ft. Worth and Dallas.  All employees of both GSI and TSG will continue working for their respective company and become part of the steadily expanding DSI family. We are proud to welcome these new employees who will easily integrate into the highly motivated and quality conscious team of DSI employees around the world.
GSI and TSG together specialize in the production and fabrication of extruded post-tensioning tendons for the residential and commercial slab on ground marketplace. Both have excellent reputations for strong customer service and high quality products serving the north Texas marketplace.  
The acquisition will serve as a platform for DSI to enter the large slab on ground market that exists in and around Texas. A new business unit will be created to focus on this new market.
