Spiles

Spiles (also known as forepoles) provide a protective canopy for advancing the heading of the tunnel without the risk of falling debris. They are often used with NATM construction.

DYWI ^® Drill Hollow Bar Spiles facilitate drilled installation, reducing localised disruption and providing a conduit for grouting. Subsequent grouting assists in the consolidation of the surrounding ground.
