Proving Tests
Conducted on trial anchors installed prior to the main works, proving tests provide information on expected performance of working anchors, suitability of design and levels of safety.

On-Site Suitability Tests
Conducted on anchors identical to the working anchors. Data provides a reference, against which the performance of the working anchors can be measured.

On-Site Acceptance Tests
Applied to all working anchors. Test loading demonstrates the anchor's ability to withstand a load greater than its working load.

Rock Bolts and Soil Nails
Proving and suitability tests are applicable, with acceptance testing restricted to a percentage of nails or bolts, the balance being loaded by torque wrench.
