Monitoring and Refurbishment
Permanent anchors often feature a requirement for long-term load monitoring as part of a planned maintenance programme. DYWIDAG-Systems International offer the following services for bar and strand anchors:

Lift-off Testing
Also known as check-lifting, involves lifting the head clear of the bearing plate to establish the residual load.

Single Strand Testing
Each strand is check-loaded with a monostrand jack to establish the working load.

Re-stressing and De-stressing
Applicable where anchor loads are subject to change or are no longer required e.g. progressive excavations. See also DYWIDAG Removable Anchors.

Refurbishment Service
Inspection, maintenance, bar or strand splicing, full head replacement.
